I'd appreciate any help on this perplexing problem. This problem occurs no matter what project I'm currently on, in addition to any new ones.

Reinstalling Visual C# does nothing, nor does deleting the Settings located in C:\Documents and Settings\ User Account\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Settings\C# Express. I am completely puzzled as to how this complete disregard for my settings occurred in the first place, let alone how to fix it. You can do this on Windows by pressing both Ctrl and. Visual Studio supports auto formatting of the code with the CTRL+E,D or CTRL+E,F key shortcuts but with this extension the command 'Format Document' is executed on Save. Once installation is successful, open the settings of your VS Code. Enables auto formatting of the code when you save a file. None of them are checked any differently or in a manner to produce this problem. You may of used Format Document on Save Visual Studio extension. The same problem persists with anything that should be covered by "Automatically format completed statement on " and "Adjust indentation on paste." I also checked the settings in the collapsed Formatting field. Despite the proper settings being in place, nothing gets properly formatted at all. Yet the options in the Formatting field under C# in Tools -> Options indicate that this should be the case. All upon making the closing brace, but this automatic formatting does not happen anymore.
